Test Analyst

Infosys is seeking a Test Analyst.

As a Test Analyst, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate one of these areas. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
• At least 2 years of software testing experience.
• Good soft skills

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS) applications.
• Good understanding of Oracle ERP modules like Order Management, Service logistics, Financials etc.
• Experience in analyzing business requirements and functional specification documents to understand complete testing scope.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers and business to understand scope coverage.
• Design and develop test cases, test scripts and test data based on functional requirements.
• Perform various types of testing including Functional Testing, System Integration, Regression and UAT support.
• Working knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Experience in handling test execution cycles, creating test status reports for various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium or OATS.
• SQL knowledge for database validation and back-end testing.
• Knowledge of agile test methodologies and scrum plannings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent communication.
• Able to work well independently as well as in a team.
