Terraform Engineer

Infosys is seeking a skilled and motivated Terraform Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across cloud and hybrid environments. This role plays a key part in automating infrastructure provisioning, improving deployment efficiency, and ensuring consistency across environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TXor Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to these areas.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
• At least 2 years of experience in any cloud platform-AWS or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to ensure scalable and secure deployments
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Good understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, and cloud-native services.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in infrastructure deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Terraform Cloud or Enterprise.
• Experience in one of the services- Storage, Network, or SRE
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face
