Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, British Columbia or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

  • At least 4 years of experience in Java/J2EE, Restful APIs, Microservices
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience building complex systems involving high volumes and high performance/throughput expectations
  • Should be good on Code coverage and Unit Test.
  • Must have good debugging skills
  • GitHub Co-pilot experience is must have
  • Interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs
  • Software development leveraging Agile Scrum methodology

  • Exposure in development and deployment to private/public cloud, DevOps experience
  • Ability & prior experience in performing a techno-functional role, anchoring technical solutions, working with Business stakeholders to understand the requirements, study existing applications/technical landscape, and collaborate with IT Architects to define technical solution keeping in mind the various integration touchpoints with existing operational systems.
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs
  • Ability to guide the implementation teams spread across multiple time zones, through the implementation of the technical solution, based on project plan
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder collaborative environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery model & eagerness to pick up new technologies & product skills on the job.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
British Columbia: $ 81575 to $ 116670
