Process Lead
San Jose, CR (Hybrid work model)
Job Description:
In the role of Process Lead in a Procurement service line, you will be required to follow all predefined procedures including buying goods and services on behalf of client's procurement organization, choosing suppliers, and negotiating prices to ensure that the right amount of the product or service is received when it is needed. Responsible for all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of Commodities and Services in indirect materials. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives/projects, negotiations with suppliers on commercials to achieve best price, focusing on KPI delivery by catalogs/contracts creation and management, running sourcing processes such as RFQ/RFP/RFI.

Basic:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of related experience in the strategic sourcing and procurement domain.
- CPM/CPIM/PMP/SAP-SRM certified is a plus.
- Knowledge of Sourcing techniques in practice - Spend Analytics, strategic sourcing methodology, negotiation, saving levers, contracting, Catalogue management
- Strong Communication Skills and Customer Services Oriented
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical skills/ability to analyze and summarize cost data to identify potential for cost optimizations
- Strong in tasks prioritization and organization to assure all tasks are completed in a timely manner based on Client needs and the tasks are recorded, monitored, and closed out in an efficient manner.
- Strong commercial/ contract negotiations skills
- Capability to escalate and drive behavior for achieving targets
- Experience with sourcing systems - Coupa/SAP/Ariba - good to have
- Catalog management/ contract management expertise
- Must be extremely proficient with all PC applications - Word, Excel, Power Point, project management tools
- Bringing value through innovative thinking
- Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese effective with business communication.
- Strong Communication Skills and Customer Services Oriented
- Must be self-motivated and proactive
- Must be a team player and flexible to take up individual ownership of tasks
This role is Hybrid Work model. You will typically in the office in San Jose, CR one day per week. Should have the flexibility to be onsite, as needed, for meetings, training or when requested.
