Infosys is seeking an Scala Architect . This position will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
7 + years of hands on software development experience using Java, Microservices, Spring, Restful API, Cassandra, Golang and Scala
Minimum 5+ years experience in Scala, AKKA, HTTP4 Framework
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environment
Minimum 5+ years hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
Minimum 5+ years with Panthon, AKKA Framework, Junit, Mock framework
Minimum 5+ years hands on experience with Cassandra and Redis database
Strong understanding and experience using Github, Gerrit for version control and code reviews
Familiarity with Linux/Unix
Familiarity with Networking concepts and VOIP
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face
