Role - SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Experience: 15+ years
Salary: AUD 127,971-141,157 AUD Annual Gross

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect with a strong consulting background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have led multiple SAP S/4HANA finance transformation projects and possess extensive expertise in business process modelling, system integration, and driving strategic finance initiatives. This role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive approach to innovation within the finance domain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Architect, develop, and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive business process modelling to optimize finance operations, leveraging SAP S/4HANA best practices and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across enterprise systems.
- Excellent understanding of accounting concepts, processes, controls, policies, reporting and budgeting principles
- Well versed with Taxation, Sales Tax, accounting compliance topics.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA Finance methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge on ticketing tools like Remedy or Service Now to handle Incident management, request management and change request management.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and provide strategic recommendations for future-ready finance solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in SAP S/4HANA Finance technologies, driving innovation and improvement across projects.

ESSENTIAL
- Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Over 12 years of experience in SAP Finance solutions with a strong focus on Finance and Controlling.
- Proven track record of leading multiple SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects from design to delivery.
- Multiple full lifecycle experience in SAP Transformation, Upgrade, Rollout, and Carveout programs as Finance Solution Architect and Consultant focusing on solution design, integration, build, test and deploy.
- Deep understanding of business process modelling and optimization within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
- Aware of SAP Activate methodology for S/4HANA implementation across all phases
- Experience in implementing all key finance scope ids in accounting and financial close, financial operations, cost and profitability operations, group reporting, intercompany, event-based revenue recognition and internal projects.
- Full end to End lifecycle experience in S/4HANA Finance, Controlling, Planning & Budgeting, Consolidation, Group Reporting.
- Experience across industry verticals.
- Experience of working in global multinational environments with onsite and offshore teams.
- Experience in review of data structures and hierarchies for cost center and profit center master data.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving strategic outcomes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
