Infosys is seeking a Project Manager. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure and .NET Core technologies.
  • Develop blueprints for web applications, APIs, microservices, and integration solutions.
  • Provide leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to Azure and .NET Core best practices.
  • Understand business requirements and technical limitations and solution accordingly
  • Responsible for taking Technology decisions for the project
  • Work experience of 10 to 12 years in the relevant technologies in Microsoft Stack
  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience in Azure Stack
  • Strong technical knowledge of C#, .NET Core/.net 6, Azure full stack
  • Experience in messaging Queue like Azure Service bus
  • Experience in Azure Services like Azure Logic Apps, WebApps, Azure Functions, App Insight, Event Hub, Redis cache.
  • Hands-on experience in Pass Databases like MS SQL and No SQL Databases (COSMOS DB)
  • Build internal and external-facing web applications in an agile environment
  • Design, develop, code, test, debug and support in a full stack application including windows services, MVC application(s), and Web API endpoints
  • Provide technical expertise in design and planning conversations as assigned and produce associated technical materials including system diagrams, process flows, and database design artifacts.
  • Work with management, consultants, and developers to define advanced designs for enterprise and consumer solutions
  • Develop applications for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Own, standardize, contribute to, and review the overall technical documentation of the of a solution
  • Good team player, have the ability and willingness to mentor teammates through code review, explanation, and example
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, planning and communication skills
  • Collaborate with teammates to find great solutions to challenging problems.
  • Proactively identify risk areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continually learn, implement, and apply software development standard methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Participate in sprint meetings including planning, daily stand-ups, and other meetings as needed.
  • Work with IT teams to craft, implement, and manage infrastructure
  • Full stack development experience
  • Experience with API development
  • Experience with Unit testing frameworks
  • Experience working with an identity provider such as Auth0 or Okta
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 98486 to $ 134404
