Principal SAP Basis Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Basis Architect

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Location of the requirement is Irving TX. The role may require travel to project/Client location.

• At least 11 years of experience in Basis Administration primarily encompassing SAP system upgrades and migrations w.r.t SAP NW ABAP/JAVA systems, HANA,SLT, Business Objects, SAP Data Services.
• 2+ years of experience in Configuring and Administering SAP cloud products (SAC, CI-DS, Datasphere, PaPM, IBP) and setting up interfaces.
• 3+ years of experience in technical/solution designing and planning SAP system implementations.
• Mentoring team members on implementation techniques while providing guidance on best practices.
• Providing technical leadership on all IT (SAP Basis) initiatives throughout the organization.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timeline.
• Performing root cause analysis for complex system issues and provide resolution recommendations.
• Performing system analysis and design activities for complex enterprise systems.
• Providing advice on project costs, design concepts, and design changes.
• Providing technical guidance in support of system implementation/upgrade/migration and troubleshooting. Also, demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining adaptable and flexible.
• Always providing efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
