Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with Integration platform experience. The position will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and apply the technical proficiency across the different stages of Software Development Life Cycle including Requirement Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, design, development and Production support for MuleSoft Integrations and platform support. Should be a self-starter and keen learner and work closely with the architects and analysts in reviews and technical issue resolution within the committed SLAs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Kennesaw, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Develop scalable, cloud-based machine learning and data processing pipelines.
• Lead the architectural design and end-to-end implementation of large-scale data and analytics platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions that provide measurable value.
• Oversee advanced analytics strategies and optimization of predictive modeling and data pipelines across various domains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and executive leadership, to align technical direction with organizational goals.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and data science teams.
• Architect explainable AI/ML solutions for business process automation, forecasting, and optimization.
• Define and prioritize use cases, leading teams through solution prototyping, deployment, and production support.
• Detail technical system/service designs, review team designs and code, and provide regular technical support and guidance during project execution.
• Experience in architectural design of high-volume data pipeline (made up of Informatica/Kafka/Spark)
• Experience in choosing the best fit SQL/NoSQL Databases, design and development on one or more of the following - PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Couch, Mongo, Redis etc.
• Strong Object Oriented and Services design skills with a thorough understanding of software design and architectural patterns
• Experience in design and development spanning technologies across UI, Business Logic, Data/DB layer including Integration middleware
• Experience in Python programming, Java.
• Experience in Architecture, design and implementation of business functionality / applications on Google/AWS/Azure cloud platform that leverages the very latest in cloud technologies (PAAS Services)

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
