Lead Azure Data Engineer
Infosys is seeking an Lead Azure Data Engineer - Databricks. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Parsippany, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management in an Azure environment.
- At least 4 years of experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Experience in Monitoring, analyzing, trouble shooting and fix of ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows leveraging PySpark/Scala and Spark SQL.
- Experience with SQL Server database systems including complex warehouse design, experience with designing ETL extracts from various data sources.

- Manufacturing Pharma experience is a plus
- Knowledge and expertise on operational support for ETL/ELT data pipelines built on Databricks, addressing data quality issues, failures, and performance degradation
- Experience on Power BI is a plus
- Lead the team for supporting applications in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure SQL
- This person will be required to manage incidents, service requests and change requests in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Power BI etc
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual who is able to dive into details and quickly provide summary level readouts of the source data
- The position requires very strong communication skills as the candidate will be required to interact regularly with all levels within the organization, including developers, architects, business users and management.
