Job Role :

The Hardware Asset Management Administrator is involved with the day-to-day activities relating to hardware asset management, including procurement, asset tracking, auditing, and disposal. The remit of the Hardware Asset Management team is global and extends to all aspects of hardware asset management, independent of location.

Key Deliverables/Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all hardware asset details within Service Now
• Thorough knowledge of IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal)
• Management of hardware purchase orders through their lifecycle (including 'Goods Receipting' and 'Invoicing')
• Management of all purchasing and end to end stock management activities including asset recording and tracking
• Creation of purchase orders, adding new assets to the repository and managing the asset deployment process
• Procurement of products and services in all international regions
• Handling of queries relating to hardware asset details
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders
• Assist with billing queries relating to the procurement of products and services
• Ensure assets are accounted for (including those assets that are unassigned) and components are accurately reflected in Service Now
• Manage and maintain stock levels, across all regions, to ensure that levels are sufficient and stock records are accurately maintained
• Assist in the establishment and embedding of global hardware asset management processes across all regions
• Support the Hardware Asset Team Manager in all aspects of service delivery
• Aim for 100% customer satisfaction and client focus, create a performance culture throughout the team
• Manage indvidual incidents and requests according to defined SLAs - aim for 100% adherence to Service Request & INC Best Practice guidelines
• Thorough Knowledge of End-of-Life Management, End user Hardware Refresh, Break fix Replacement and Hardware Disposal/Retirement

Experience Required
Essential :
• Considerable experience in procurement, IT, or a related field
• Good record keeping and organizing the work.
• Good hands on in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with Service Now
• Understanding of procurement for software, hardware and mobiles
• ITIL V3 Foundation
• IT Service Management expertise
• Communication skills
• Stakeholder Management
• Continuous Improvement

  • Excellent Customer Interfacing and Vendor Management Skills.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
