Senior SAP Consultant - Payroll (HCM & SuccessFactors) Location: Santiago, Chile (or Remote with travel to Santiago as needed)
Contract Type: Permanent
Required Experience: 7+ years
We're looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Consultant specializing in the SAP Payroll module. You'll be a key player, leading projects, optimizing processes, and providing expert support for payroll solutions to our clients or within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Consulting:
    • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Payroll solutions (On-Premise and/or Employee Central Payroll) for complex clients.
    • Manage the full lifecycle of SAP HCM/Payroll projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
    • Act as a trusted expert advisor to clients, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.

  • Master advanced SAP Payroll configuration and parameterization , including schemas, calculation rules, infotypes, wage types, absences, etc.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in the integration between SAP Payroll (ECC or ECP) and SAP SuccessFactors , particularly with Employee Central as the master data source for personnel.
  • Capable of performing thorough functional and regression testing to ensure solution quality and stability.
  • Support & Optimization:
    • Diagnose and resolve complex incidents related to SAP Payroll, ensuring the continuity of payroll processes.
    • Identify and implement continuous improvements to payroll processes and their SAP configuration, aiming for efficiency and automation.
    • Generate detailed technical and functional documentation (designs, configurations, user manuals, ABAP development specifications).
  • Collaboration & Development:
    • Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (other SAP modules, IT, Human Resources, Finance).
    • Participate in the development and mentoring of junior and semi-senior SAP Payroll consultants.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and evolutions in SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and labor regulations.

  • Essential Requirements:
    • 7+ years of demonstrable experience as an SAP Consultant in the Payroll (PY) module.
    • Robust experience with SAP SuccessFactors , especially in integration with SAP Payroll, with a deep understanding of Employee Central .
    • Advanced knowledge in configuring Payroll Schemas, Rules, Operations, and Functions.
    • Ability to read and understand ABAP code (basic debugging) to identify issues.
    • Exceptional analytical skills for resolving complex problems and proposing effective solutions.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels and with clients.
    • Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written).
    • University degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Highly Valued:
    • SAP Certifications in Payroll or SuccessFactors.
    • Experience in Payroll data migrations.
    • Knowledge of other SAP HCM modules (OM, PA, PT, TM).
    • Experience in S/4HANA environments (with a focus on Employee Central Payroll).
