Desktop Configuration and Management:

  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Develop and implement desktop management strategies, including imaging, application deployment, and user profile management.
  • Maintain inventory of desktop hardware and software, ensuring all devices meet corporate standards.
Troubleshooting and End-User Support:
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex desktop issues, providing Level 2 and Level 3 support as needed.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues on desktops and provide timely resolution to end-users.
  • Document issues, solutions, and best practices, and provide training and guidance to Level 1 support staff.

  • Monitor desktop performance and optimize settings to enhance user experience and system reliability.

Certifications
• Certifications in desktop management (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
• Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions, such as VMware Horizon or Citrix.
• Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) and app protection policies
