Cloud Engineer - Networks
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling and maintaining scalable, secure,
and cost-effective cloud infrastructure that supports operational systems, analytics, remote
monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives in our assets. You will collaborate with crossfunctional
teams across different time zones to ensure cloud solutions align with both IT and
cyber standards, including connectivity and data challenges and high-availability
requirements for different stakeholders in the region
The Cloud Engineer's primary responsibilities will be to:
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) to support
applications on the IT level that are vital to mining operations and asset management.
Develop and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Terraform) for repeatable
and automated environment provisioning
Support the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure
and application deployments.
Collaborate with project, engineering and cybersecurity teams to enforce and ensure
cloud security best practices (e.g., identity management, logging, threat detection).
Participate in project planning and architecture reviews to ensure scalability,
compliance, and operational continuity.
Document configurations, decisions, and standard operating procedures for internal
use
