Infosys is seeking an AWS Principal Consultant. This position's primary responsibility will be Solution strategy and design and working with key stakeholders and coordinate for day-to day-deliverables for the team across programs/ projects. The chosen candidate will work with business and help them prioritize roadmap along with Product Owner to increase Agility. The role holder should help teams to practice values and principles of Agile and become more Agile. He / She must be actively involved in technical matters thus finding out the gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decision and description of the functional flow. He / She should be able to create status reports and provide status updates to the stake holders on a weekly basis. This position will have all-round responsibility from Solution Architecture and Design, client interaction management, project management, execution and team management.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
- Extensive experience in working on Cloud Technologies spanning AWS.
- At least 2 years of experience in migration and transformation of On-prem applications to Cloud, with involvement from proposal, strategy to execution, across Infrastructure and Applications
- Experience in cloud migration as well development of applications on Java, Spring, Microservices, UI, Messaging Integration and Database technologies, distributed and web-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years specialization AWS Cloud Technologies including DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Performance Engineering
- Application Deployment on cloud with Hands on experience of cloud services
- At least 4 years of experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) set up on cloud - Terraform, Knowledge of Ansible and/or Chef/Puppet, Knowledge of CloudFormation is good to have
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps set up on cloud - AWS Code Pipeline, CI-CD Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes and Monitoring tools, SRE (Site-reliability Engineering) is good to have
- Ability and readiness to operate both at hands-on level on the full cycle from strategy to development and execution.
- Experience in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes Clustering, Docker, Jenkins.
- Software engineering experience in AWS services., GIT and GIT workflows. Cloud infrastructure, PAAS , IAAS, IAC, Power shell, Terraform, Experience working with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Fluency with relational databases, exposure to Java Spring boot technologies, experience in migrating Java Sporing Microservices RDBKS On-prem apps to AWS cloud.
- At least 4 years of experience in JAVA, J2EE Application Development with working experience in Java Spring boot, Microservices, Messaging, RDBMS.
- At least 4 years of experience in basic UNIX / AIX / Linux, Unix Shell scripting.
- At least 4 years of experience in Spring, GIT, JIRA/Confluence, CI Tools, API Gateways
- Good knowledge of Splunk, AppDynamics, Git, Nexus and their integration with Cloud platform
- Experience in Global Delivery of IT projects of varies types, and execution in Agile as well as Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in making proposals to clients to address their business needs specifically related to transformation ion Cloud .
- Detail oriented, excellent communication and organizational skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills
- Ability to manage end to end program delivery and multiple priorities for concurrent projects effectively, servicing as single point of contact with clients for large programs. projects.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Proficient creating and presenting status briefings to senior management.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
