This role involves leading technical teams, driving innovation, and ensuring high-performance content management solutions. In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. This position is based out of Austin, TX. This position may require re-location and or travel to project location.

Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
5+ years of experience in AEM backend development with a focus on architecture and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in AEM backend development with a focus on architecture and scalability.
  • Expert proficiency in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR repository management.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, and third-party integrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching techniques, and CDN optimizations.
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams while maintaining hands-on technical contributions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in debugging complex AEM issues.
Good to Have
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and modern deployment models.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and AI-driven personalization techniques.
  • Exposure to headless CMS architectures and GraphQL-driven content management.
  • Knowledge of security standards, compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA), and accessibility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and enhance AEM backend services, workflows, and integrations.
  • Define and implement best practices for AEM development, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Lead the development of OSGi bundles, Apache Sling models, and JCR repository structures.
  • Optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, and content delivery networks (CDN).
  • Oversee integrations with third-party APIs, databases, authentication mechanisms, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams, frontend developers, and content authors to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Conduct technical reviews, mentorship, and hands-on coding to uphold engineering excellence.
  • Manage performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting of AEM environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, accessibility guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Stay ahead of AEM innovations, cloud migrations, and advancements in content management technologies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
