Role Overview
The Senior Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst will support the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. This person will maintain optimal functions of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, data integration, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize UKG’s suite of solutions to analyze HR data, improve processes, and enhance system utilization across the organization ensuring that our HR technology supports day-to-day operations and aligns with strategic business goals
- Lead data initiatives to define, standardize, cleanse and map HR data, including to other systems and for use in business processes.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
- Collaborates with the People Team staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
- Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to HR and business partners on various people-related issues to identify patterns/trends and track goals against benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the People Team to ensure accurate and timely data reporting, analysis and compliance reporting requirements from our HRIS BI reporting tool (UKG Pro)
- Contribute to development of HR dashboards to monitor workforce trends, including headcount, turnover, retention, diversity and inclusion, talent development, business continuity, succession planning etc., and identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Produce meaningful presentations based on the analytics and insights on a cyclical and ad hoc basis as needed
- Collaborate with GRC/Compliance Group to resolve findings and ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Performs other duties as required

- 8+ years of related experience required
- Expert level knowledge of UKG functionality and configuration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
