About this role
We are seeking a Sitecore Technical Architect with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, modern development frameworks, and extensive hands-on experience with Sitecore 10 and Headless Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable digital solutions using Sitecore XP/XM, leveraging Azure PaaS, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks like React/Next.js. You will work collaboratively with your team and client to deliver outcomes that address complex challenges and environments. Your role and responsibilities
• Develop world-class enterprise content management solutions on Sitecore XP (v10) and the Microsoft Azure cloud
• Define and own technical strategy, architectural standards, and governance for Sitecore implementations.
• Architect headless solutions using Sitecore 10+, JSS, Next.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and optimize Sitecore deployments on Azure PaaS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with solution architects, front-end engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align on requirements and technical vision.
• Guide and mentor technical teams in best practices around Sitecore, microservices, and front-end integrations.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and patterns to ensure the platform remains modern and performant.
• Ensure adherence to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding standards.
• Contribute to the .NET discipline growth within the business
• Contribute to sprint planning and technical design
• Participate in progress demonstrations and sprint retrospectives
• Work with Designers to convert designs into an interactive system using the specific framework functions
• Mentor and set directions for project specific technology for developers
• Continuously review new technologies and implement (where applicable) to keep high standards and to practice the latest technologies

Required technical and professional expertise
• 10+ years of experience in .NET development with at least 6+ years in Sitecore architecture and solution design.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working with Sitecore (Sitecore 10+ and SXA/JSS experience highly advantageous)
• Solid understanding of Sitecore Helix/Habitat, modular architecture, and multi-site implementations.
- Familiarity with headless CMS
• Expertise in architecting and deploying Sitecore on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Application Insights, Blob Storage, etc.).
• Experience with key software engineering tools and practices such as dependency injection (e.g. Microsoft Unity) distributed source control (e.g. Git), continuous integration (Azure DevOps), automated deployment (Azure DevOps)
• Have a good understanding of and experience with the web: protocols, architectures, infrastructure, web servers (IIS), proxies, load balancing, high availability, and the cloud, to name a few
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API-first design.
• Strong analytical problem solving and production diagnostic skills, with the ability to think outside of the box
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex architectural challenges.
• The ability to be a great team player and work closely with other technical and business colleagues
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively
• An entrepreneurial, pro-active, analytical, and positive mindset with a personable and professional approach
Preferred technical and professional experience
• A tertiary qualification in IT or an equivalent level of work experience
• Sitecore Certifications (Developer 10X)
• Exposure to Composable DXP concepts and MACH architecture
