In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Manger for SAP, you will lead implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of SAP solutions that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. As Project Manager- you are expected to have strong understanding of SAP products, project management methodologies, and experience in managing large-scale SAP implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex and multiple project along with team members, internal stakeholders and client
- Lead and assist in matching/mapping and workshops together with Technical/Solution Architects to assess and implement strategies, work breakdown schedule, methods and tools for efficient SAP implementation
- Support client orals and sales pitch
- Manage SAP implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of SAP solutions
- Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation, and budget management
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, IT, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify project scope, and define project deliverables
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure SAP solutions align with business strategies and objectives

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise
- Must have 8+ years of work experience as SAP Project and/or Program Manager with proven track record of executing small-to-large scale implementation projects
- Strong governance and leadership experience in managing SAP programs consisting of multiple projects
- Solid understanding and experience on Project Management methodologies (eq. SAP RISE, Activate, Agile etc) and tools, as well as an understanding of SAP HANA (eq Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield).
- At least 5 full-cycle implementation and/or implementation projects
- Experience in supporting SMEs to develop assessment criteria and scoring for tool/process selection
- Understanding of SAP modules and integration
- Experience in developing central SAP knowledge-sharing repository
- Strong communication skills; analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to cooperate and take business and solution lead in multi-vendor teams
- Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub)
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Project Management certification is a plus
- Background as either SAP MM/WM, Finance consultant or technical architect role
- Experience in SAP Testing Automation using different tools (i.e.Tricentis TOSCA, Selenium and Worksoft)
- Lean Six Sigma - Yello/Green Belt certification is a plus
- Experience in Healthcare industry
