Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer - Digital to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our digital products and platforms, including web, mobile applications, and cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to define testing strategies, identify potential risks, and ensure seamless user experiences through robust QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital applications (web, mobile, and APIs).
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, usability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Implement automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for efficient test execution and reporting.
• Analyze test results, track bugs, and verify fixes in collaboration with development teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, coding practices, and security requirements.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing for web and mobile platforms.
• Stay updated on emerging digital testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with stakeholders for release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality assurance process.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types (functional, regression, smoke, etc.), and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
