IBM Consulting MCC Go-to-Market specialist

Introduction

The individual in this role will play a critical part in driving business growth by supporting Tier 1 Events and pipeline progression initiatives. They will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and business leaders to maximize the impact of main events and accelerate opportunities through the sales funnel.

Your role and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Tier 1 Events Go-to-Market Execution: Partner with global and Geo-Market teams to align go-to-Market in high-impact Tier 1 events. This includes Sales Alignment pre, during, post event to drive measurable outcomes.
• Pipeline Progression Strategy: Support the design of a Progression Engine, leveraging AI. This includes working with Analytics teams, Field Marketing, Product Marketing and Consultants to identify key opportunities, developing next best actions, and executing with speed.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a connector across marketing, sales, and Account teams to ensure alignment on process, priorities, goals, and metrics. Drive executional rigor through detailed planning, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to evaluate performance, uncover insights, and continuously improve outcomes.
• Process development: Ensure process, tools, and AI support is in place to increase productivity.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment.
• Nice to have: experience in field marketing, sales enablement, or go-to-market roles, ideally within a consulting or B2B enterprise environment.
