Introduction
Your mission as Digital Sales Specialist is to proactively contact customers to drive opportunity identification, progression and closure with Ecosystem partners in the Select Territory segment. You will leverage an advanced set of tools and applications, referred to as technology stack, to manage the sales process. Digital Sales Specialist are specialized and accountable for driving your Data and AI Software Brand portfolio with an emphasis on Product Led Growth (PLG) products, Systems portfolio, and Red Hat.

Account Planning and Stakeholder Management
- Hunt proactively for new opportunities
- Delivers unique, incremental revenue/value and leverage Business Partners to achieve Territory objects
- Collaborate with your team/squad members on the territory plan

Sales Execution
- Deal progression and co-sales with / lead pass to business partner for focused set of offerings
- Owns Opportunity Identification and solution for winning revenue
- Brings in the right technical resources to drive technical sales win
- Partners with clients to co-create solution leveraging assigned offerings / product
- Leverages tool stack and social selling skills
Managing for Growth
- Responsible for keeping technical proficiency and product knowledge up to date
- Participating in Proof of Concepts of Proof of Technology to Process opportunities
- Manages territory and Strategy

Required technical and professional expertise
- Proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities
- Experience collaborating with strategic partners (e.g., IBM Business Partners) in joint client engagements, including pre-sales and co-selling scenarios.
- Demonstrated influence over client and partner technology decisions
- Strong territory planning and partner enablement skills, including the ability to create and execute go-to-market plans, and advise business partners on market strategy and growth.
- Practical knowledge of Design Thinking methodology
- Previous experience working in a channel sales environment
- Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, due to the role's focus on Quebec-based clients and partners.
- 1+ years of sales experience in the technology industry, such as software, hardware, cloud services, or enterprise IT solutions.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Strong understanding of Data and AI architecture and software capabilities.
- Familiarity with various software deployment models.
- Proven experience in software sales, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of accounts or a defined territory.
