Your role and responsibilities
As a Compliance Engineer you are passionate about privacy and security and eager to make valuable contributions as we build the next generation of database platforms. You have a strong proclivity for solving complex and interesting problems. You thrive in an environment where you can make a difference and affect positive change. As the security team grows we will be deploying new tools and technologies to support our cloud offerings. Those technologies and products will change our security landscape. You will evaluate our products and services to ensure that our control framework is rock solid, and provides a firm assurance to our clients that we take their data and privacy seriously.

What you will do:
● Facilitate compliance programs by analyzing control frameworks and compliance related risks.
● Work with auditors to provide control related evidence.
● Maintain a security calendar and assist in scheduling compliance related activities and audits.
● Manage internal and external communications around security events and incidents
● In conjunction with owners drive the implementation of controls.
● Test internal controls and improve control design for increased effectiveness.
● Communicate with leadership teams regarding timelines and schedules.
● Evaluate new compliance programs for inclusion.
● Evaluate vendor solutions where applicable.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
● 4 - 6 Years of relevant experience
● Compliance programs and standards (SOC2, PCI)
● Cloud assets
● Control development, design, and implementation
● Process automation and control monitoring
● Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
● BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Accounting/Auditing or related fields.
● Four or more years of experience in security or compliance consulting in a highly technical environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
● 3+ years of IT and/or Infrastructure Admin experience
● 3+ years of hands-on experience with SaaS application management (like Okta, AWS, GCP Azure )
● 3+ years of security or security adjacent experience like
