Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Service Team Leader you'll take responsibility for the successful and safe execution of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Service Orders to scope, budget and schedule in the Grid Automation Service business serving the UK power utilities sector, via the Project Managers and SLA Managers within the Grid Automation.
You'll be responsible for various forms of Service Orders, i.e. extensions, upgrade, refurbishments, SLA's and commissioning orders form the basis of the workload within the Grid Automation Service Business.
This will require the development of a detailed understanding of the scope of work and the commercial, contractual and Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Integrity (QHSEI) requirements and implications for each project.

This opportunity is a hybrid role 3 days in Stone (Staffordshire) office and 2 days working from home.
How you'll make an impact:
- To support Tendering in the order pursuit process (helping to develop capture and execution strategy)
Achieve clarity of expectation throughout the demand and supply chain. - Manage changes in the scope (and the associated commercial aspects) driven by client, internally or the supply chain
- To work closely with the Service Engineering Manager to ensure resource is allocated correctly.
- Establish and motivate the service team (including resources from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality HSE and Supply Chain)
- Represent Hitachi Energy at all key project delivery meetings i.e. the principal point of contact with the client for projects
- Manage the financial and commercial aspects of SLA's and projects including reporting the current and forecast financial status, risks and opportunities, and project cash flows.
- Overseeing the day to day service orders, reviewing and supervising the delivery and execution.
- Working with the Service Operations Manager to set goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
- Ensure that all KPI's are reported, managed and risks mitigated for Revenues, Cash collection, (C)OTD, Rev GM, COPQ's
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience in team leadership within a similar environment.
- Drive, energy and enthusiasm for delivering to commitments.
- Extent of confidentiality - discretion is essential in view of contact with outside parties, product development strategies, regulatory and sales information.
- Must work independently with minimal supervision, and complete multiple technical tasks under tight deadlines.
