The Opportunity
From rapid response and performance improvement to operational efficiency and life-cycle management, Service is one of our fastest-growing areas.
You will execute service work within the Services Solutions Team in Spain. Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will act as the person between customers and extended Hitachi Energy teams, and you will collaborate closely with him in the department's continuous improvement process, leading defined improvement actions and supporting business processes.
How you will make an impact
- Comprehensive Project Management: Ensuring compliance with customer contract requirements and achieving all technical, safety, quality, schedule, compliance, and financial targets.
- Project Supervision and Monitoring: Overseeing each stage of project development, ensuring best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, results, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Relationship Building and Technical Reviews: Building strong relationships and participating in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Customer Satisfaction and Technical Support: Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project, offering on-site or remote support for installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Development of New Applications and Methods: Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment, and methods, and supporting the implementation of service solutions business processes and ongoing projects.
- Continuous Improvement and Core Values: Being part of the team to identify areas for continuous improvement, leading initiatives, and collaborating in the development and growth of the services team and business, with availability to travel and actively participate in service projects, while living the core values of safety and integrity.

Your background
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer or similar. A Master's Degree is not mandatory but may be considered a plus.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in the electrical/industrial sector, working as Project Engineer or Services Engineer. Experience with electrical substations is desired.
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing on the electrical/industrial sector. Fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel up to 65% of the time (mainly national trips)
- Proven leadership skills, with a flexible, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
