Hitachi Energy is seeking a passionate and experienced engineer to join our North American Engineering Design Center as a Senior Engineer - Bushing Design. How You'll Make an Impact
- Analyze bushing designs for performance, reliability, and application support.
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
- Apply deep knowledge of IEEE & IEC standards and NAM market requirements.
- Evaluate mechanical and structural requirements, including seismic analysis.
- Lead and support R&D initiatives with our Global Technical Center.
- Mentor entry-level engineers and interns.
- Perform FEA, electrical, electromagnetic, and thermal stress analysis.
- Interpret oil analysis, chemistry, and dissolved gas analysis (DGA).

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in electromechanical product development.
- Experience with epoxy and chemical processing is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Creo 4.0, Windchill, and 3D CAD modeling software.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and PTC products.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
