Senior DevOps Engineer

The opportunity

We are looking for a DevOps to drive innovation and solution development in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure.

How you'll make an impact

• Develop and document the continuous deployment build and release process.

• Build scalable and secure production HA environments using Azure components.

• Troubleshoot build and release issues.

• Continuously improve the CD tool chain and associated processes towards more automation and shorter turn-around times.

• Define custom metrics, alarms, dashboards in alignment with operational goals.

• Advise development teams on SW configuration management/branching and test automation strategies.

• Being a member of a cross-disciplinary team (active participation in team activities that focus on a common goal).

Your Background

• You have a degree from university in computer science/engineering or other relevant education.

• 5+ years of experience working with cloud native microservice infrastructure with following tools and technologies like Azure DevOps, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, Application Insights, Active Directory, Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible.

• Experience working with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, and Azure Monitor.

• Experience working on Linux and Windows based infrastructure.

• Effective team player with excellent communication skills who are eager to learn new things.

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is required.
