Position Title: Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor
Location: Kraków, Poland (preferred) | Hybrid Poland
Department: Cybersecurity - Customer Cybersecurity Office (CCSO)
Reports To: Customer Cybersecurity Manager
The opportunity:
The Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor plays a strategic, customer-facing role within the Customer Cybersecurity Office. As a trusted cybersecurity expert, you are responsible for supporting customer engagements, support regulatory and technical discussions, and help customers navigate the complex landscape of modern cyber risk-especially in the context of critical infrastructure and OT/IT environments. You will also drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs and champion Hitachi Energy's commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
How you'll make an impact :
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for high-profile customers.
- Conduct workshops, security reviews, and on-site engagements.
- Drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs tailored to industry-specific needs.
- Represent Hitachi Energy's cybersecurity posture across customer engagements and industry forums.
- Advise on cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance: ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, NERC-CIP, CRA, and NIS2.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, R&D, Product) to align messaging and solutions.
- Lead proactive customer communication during incident preparation and response.
- Support sales and presales teams in addressing security concerns in RFPs, audits, and due diligence.
- Represent the CCSO at industry events, exhibitions, and forums.
- Capture and act on customer feedback to continuously improve cybersecurity services.

Your Background:
- University degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory environments.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly (national and international).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial cybersecurity and OT/IT convergence.
- Familiarity with NIS2, CRA
- Participation in cybersecurity communities or working groups
