How you'll make an impact
- You will take lead PPAP implementation
- You will lead Indirect material cost saving, and define Indirect supplier strategy.
- You will identify sole and single sourced component usage which jeopardizes continuity of supply and develop solutions to reduce risks and drive relevant departments to systematically solve and improve supplier quality issues.
- You will negotiate pricing & contracts, supplier inventory arrangements and lead-times to support customer responsiveness and manufacturing flexibility and provide lowest total landed cost comparisons to Unit.
- You will launch and drive projects to identify, select, compare, and qualify suppliers for different commodity groups, to achieve a superior supply chain.
- You will manage supplier performance, ratings, forecasting and reviews and evaluate performance, talent development, and team building of subordinates, ensuring the implementation of company compliance and EOHS rules within the department.
- You will complete other tasks assigned by the SCM Manager
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- You hold a bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and a certain knowledge of electrical engineering is preferred; with 2 years or more of team management experience.
- Familiar with the principles and manufacturing knowledge of high-voltage instrument transformers; familiar with related technical and manufacturing standards, design processes, manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities, and has certain relevant professional knowledge. Knowledge of supply chain planning / purchasing tools.
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills. Experiences in sourcing or procurement & supplier quality improvement; Familiar with the main laws of China; Familiar with modern enterprise management and main production and operation methods; Have the necessary knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental management.
- Proficient in using office software and SAP. Physically healthy; hardworking, diligent, and eager to learn. Good communication skills and team spirit; self-motivated, flexible thinking, good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, absolute reliability and trustworthiness. Open-minded, eager to learn. Business mindset and cost awareness. Ability to communicate with customers, suppliers, and management. High standard of professional ethics.
- Have good spoken, written, and listening comprehension skills in both Chinese and English.
