Automation and Communication solutions digitalize power and automation networks to improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, and serve our customers throughout the whole lifecycle.

How you will make an impact

  • You will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge Hitachi Energy in Grid Automation in Portugal. Reporting to the Local Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.
  • Driving sales volume and margin across the Grid Automation portfolio.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and Hitachi Energy - Grid Automation solutions.
  • Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2/3 years experience in Automation and Communication is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of Automation and Energy market.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of English and Portuguese Fluent.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Availability to travel/clients visits.
