How you'll make an impact

  • Works with local management teams to prevent mistakes and defects in products and avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers, provide confidence that quality requirements are fulfilled, focus on issue prevention rather than just control, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive the utilization of process management across the local business to deliver consistent and timely results, minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the process of the transformers test laboratory.
  • Ensures effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating know risks.
  • Ensures the Voice of the Customer is represented within the local business. Challenge the management team with customer experience feedback and input to decisions. Enable and coach all employees to evaluate risks, problems, and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.
  • Deploy and maintain the local Quality Management System to provide the local business with policies, regulations and processes that sufficiently describe the value chain activities. Lead the local management team in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness.
  • Performs audits and ensures the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers. Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.
  • Supports the Supply Chain Management department in selecting suppliers, evaluating the technology and capacity, and determining the best option.
  • Group guidance to provide support and leadership for the Quality activities & trainings that support the local business.
  • Reinforces and maintains a culture of health & safety &environment & sustainability in all initiatives.
  • Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and reviews effectiveness.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Electrical Engineering background is a plus,
  • Demonstrated years of experience in quality assurance and/or project management within the production and manufacturing industry, with a strong track record of driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and delivering projects on time and within scope,
  • Min. of 5 years of people management experience,
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a big plus,
  • Experience in problem solving technics, lean principles of manufacturing and Lean 6 Sigma certification is preferred,
  • Good knowledge in ISO Standard requirements,
  • Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus,
  • Passionate about operational excellence and creating the best customer experience and manufacturing development,
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, self-motivated, customer oriented,
  • Excellent analytical and systemic problem-solving and negotiation skills,
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines as well as continuous change & learning. Clear on priorities, target setting and feedback across the team,
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English and Turkish.
