This position will lead GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy United Kingdom Quality organization. In this role you will be responsible for effectively leading, developing and managing the GEH UK Quality Team. Responsibilities of this role span all quality activities, compliance, and process improvement elements for the contractual and UK regulatory obligations.

Essential Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the management and implementation of the quality management system and quality activities designated to ensure business products and processes will meet all the required standards and customer expectations. In this position you will lead a team responsible for the oversight of customer deliverables, help develop and drive a Strong Nuclear Safety Culture, monitor Key Performance Indicators, and provide status reports and recommend actions for activities related to project deliveries. - Work seamlessly with the UK project management teams, support functions, partners and suppliers to deliver project requirements
- Develop project quality plans to assure released products and services reliably meet all requirements (quality and regulatory)
- Resolve quality concerns
- Apply technical and quality knowledge and industry best practices to the analysis, investigation, and solution of complex process problems to assure that prompt and effective action is taken resolve quality issues
- Implement changes to improve processes and product quality
- Ensure future error prevention through the use of the corrective action process
- Author, review, and approve technical quality documents, plans, and procedures
- Provide mentorship and training of individuals in quality related activities
- Represent GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy in the support of customer and regulatory audits and visits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
- Strong, proven leadership experience within the nuclear regulated environment
- Significant leadership experience within a Quality function
- Significant experience in nuclear quality assurance

- Domain expertise on UK Quality Regulatory Requirements
- Strong Business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated desire to be involved in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment
- Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III, ASME NQA-1 ISO 19443 and ISO-9001
