General information: Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality intern for its Mount Pleasant, PA location. Responsibilities:
Follow safe work practices, comply with policies and procedures, proper and safe use of equipment and tools, and identify and report unsafe working conditions.
Perform data gathering and compilation to aid problem solving by engineers.
Aid Engineers in the development of process flow charts, and MSA throughout the manufacturing process and audit to ensure effectiveness.
Participate with Quality Engineers in root cause investigations and analysis other duties as necessary, required and/or assigned.
Your background:
Some training in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Ability to use MS Office 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of statistics.
Previous exposure to electromechanical drawings a plus.
Ability to learn and improve manufacturing/quality methods and procedures.
Self-motivated to work independently in a busy environment.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
