Quality Engineer

The Opportunity:

The Quality Engineer specializing in Function Testing is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards through rigorous testing processes. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any issues.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures for functional testing of products, execute tests according to established protocols, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• You will analyze test data to identify performance issues and ensure products meet design specifications, prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation, highlighting findings and recommendations.
• You will work closely with design and engineering teams to understand product requirements and specifications, communicate test results and collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• You will identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools, stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies.
• You will ensure all testing activities comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, maintain a safe and organized testing environment.
• You will report test failures in the Transformer Metrics Database within 48 hours and lead the 8D analysis for each failure, coordinate with technical teams to analyze failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.

• You hold bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or related field).
• Proven experience in functional testing within a quality assurance environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with testing tools and software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
