Hitachi energy is a global leader in technology, and the largest supplier of transformers in the world. We are pioneering the digitalization of transformers, while working on the frontier of renewable energy and ultra-high voltage AC & DC applications.

This position is meant to be part of the project management team for HVDC projects in the Hitachi Energy portfolio, focus is on the project controls discipline. This position will report into the Project Director.

• Ensures that an integrated schedule and cost control performance measurement process for the project's entire scope of work is provided.
• Establishes a baseline plan for cost and cash flow performance measurement. Monitors costs, maintains detailed estimates to complete and estimate at completion forecast, analyzes variances by using earned value management techniques and supports project management in decision making.
• Administers the change order systems and advises the Project Manager on the cost impact of potential changes
• Participates in project reviews. Composes reports and updates all required project data in Project Control systems

• Bilingual (French/English);
• Civil /Construction Engineering
• Capable of working in a team;
• Capable of working in multiple projects and handle different tasks in parallel;
• Office based position with a possibility of visiting sites, so a car on hand would be preferred.
