We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our polymer machining and processing business in Klingnau. In this role, you will ensure a high manufacturing standard through quality control and process optimization. Additionally, you will take on challenging customer requests and engineering projects. How you'll make an impact
- Provide technical support to the production team
- Manage development projects internally and in collaboration with customers
- Introduce new production processes and define production parameters
- Conduct thermal, mechanical, and electrical material testing for developments and quality assurance
- Create detailed test reports and protocols to meet customer requirements
- Implement and optimize processes for continuous improvement
- Perform failure analysis and propose corrective actions
- Ensure high-quality laboratory testing is conducted
- Support engineering activities and maintain excellence in production
- Implement and maintain ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

Your background
- Degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering or materials technology)
- Strong expertise in plastics and composite materials
- Proven experience in project work and management
- Familiarity with SAP systems is an advantage
- Fluent in German (B2+) and English
- Knowledge and experience in measurement and laboratory technology
