The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is now looking for a Production Scheduler & Planning Manager to lead and develop world-class planning processes. You will play a key role in ensuring that our production meets customer demands efficiently and sustainably.

"We are in an exciting area and are now seeking a production planning- and scheduling manager to lead a team with different roles in production planning & scheduling. This role includes many various, fun work tasks and contact with other departments at HV Breakers.

You will be a part of local management team in logistics and report to me, who is logistics manager.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead and develop a team responsible production planning and production preparation , material clearance, painted materials flow, and spare parts flow.
  • Develop and maintain an effective production planning process that balances customer requirements, costs, and delivery precision.
  • Ensure close collaboration with Production, Logistics, Order Management, and Design teams to maintain an up-to-date and accurate production plan.
  • Identify and manage potential supply risks in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive improvement initiatives using a data-driven approach to increase efficiency and reduce disruptions.
  • Lead and develop a strong team of production planners through coaching, training, and clear communication.
  • Ensure that the team meets its goals and KPIs while contributing to excellent customer service.

Your background

You are an engaged leader driven by the development of both people and processes. With a strong background in logistics, you thrive in a dynamic environment where change is a natural part of everyday operations.

  • University degree in logistics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in leading within planning, logistics, or related areas
  • A coaching and hands-on leadership style - you inspire engagement, build trust, and empower others
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify new paths forward
  • Strong system skills and experience working with digital planning tools
  • Experience in applying LEAN methodologies in operational settings
  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
