How you'll make an impact

  • According to analysis of the medium and long-term capacity, you will be supporting operational improvement requirements through forecasting and seasonal fluctuation analysis, assessing the corresponding personnel, equipment, and investment demand planning for production lines. Then break down the action plan to the execution level.
  • You will be familiar with the concept of lean production, able to proficiently apply current state and future state mapping methods and organize the team to analyze the full value stream of product families. Based on the differences, establish an operational improvement plan.
  • You will be familiar with product and capacity resource analysis, production line and workstation design methods, and simulation methods for factory production line layout and be familiar with the design methods for maximum and minimum quantities of Working in Process (WIP), as well as the calculation methods for the thorough production time (TPT).
  • You will be familiar with methods for planning internal logistics of the production line, design of line-side inventory, and planning of replenishment information flow, etc and will participate in the design of assembly processes and optimization of production workflows for the introduction of new products.
  • You will participate in the development of smart factories and digital solutions: Deploy advanced manufacturing technologies and digital solutions (robots, artificial intelligence, AGV, automation, on-site visualization, etc.) and create and maintain work instructions and process flow documents.
  • You need to proficiently use a stopwatch to measure standard working hours to identify motion waste and apply the concepts of competitiveness coefficient and relaxation coefficient and understand the difference between standard working hours and actual working hours, their respective usage scenarios, as well as abnormal classification and improvement methods.
  • You will apply production scheduling rules for balancing: Define product families for co-linear production based on product process paths and working hours and establish scheduling rules according to the constraints of equipment, tools, and processes, improve production efficiency through IE tools or automation and implement improvement proposals using a rationalization suggestion system.
  • You need to understand and apply the three-level maintenance system for factory equipment and be able to establish maintenance and preventive repair plans for tooling and inspection tools.
  • You need to support quality control in the production process: optimize production processes and reduce the risk of quality defects in process evaluation and before the official launch of the system, create work centers, maintain process routes, allocate relevant materials in the process, and provide training and problem-solving for new processes.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in IE/process: 5-8 years
  • Proficient in IE tools, process improvement, and data analysis.
  • Good practical understanding of modern production concepts (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
  • Strong IT skills with in-depth knowledge of SAP systems and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferred.
  • Possess a proactive teamwork spirit and self-motivation.
  • English requirement: proficient in reading and writing, fluent in speaking.
