Job Title: Mechanical Design Drafter

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings of metal components using AutoCAD or Creo.
- Utilize advanced CAD/Creo software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Deliver high-quality drawings to support the engineering team.
- Understand and apply manufacturing processes and material flow.
- Adhere to design principles and applicable standards for power transformers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and mitigate potential risks.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background:
- Associate degree in Drafting and Design or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in modeling and drafting.
- Proficiency in CAD/Creo and 3D modeling tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid work authorization for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
