Manufacturing Production Process Engineer

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

• You will develop and execution of new products process (Eg. Cooling duct in HV coils of dry transformer).
• You will routine dry type transformer process follows up and maintenance which includes core, coils and assembly, frock and mold design.
• You will capex management such as establish fixed assets budget, data base information update and fix assets purchase and acceptance.
• You will attend in internal and external process audit.
• You will be involved in On-site process problem solving and participate in quality accident analysis and improvement projects.
• You will work instruction reviews and updates.
• You will process training to workers.
• You will do PFEMA for specific projects.
• You will analysis & evaluation of root causes of quality issues, e.g. NCR, CCRP & QIP.

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, major in electrical or mechanical.
• Minimum 3+ years of process or design engineering experience in transformer company for vacuum cast dry type with cooling ducts in HV coils.
• Knowledge in quality management methods and techniques.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
• Good command of English.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP systems, Auto CAD or 3D drawing tools.
• Team player attitude, client orientation and passion for detail.
• ISO 9001 or ISO 16949 Internal Auditor as a plus.
• Proficient in transformer technology, reviewing process document systems such as SOP/WI/PFMEA, etc.
• Ability to develop an overall process layout for production workshops and plan reasonable process routes.
• Have good cross departmental communication and coordination skills, provide timely process solutions, and handle various emergencies.
• Cooperate with the design department to develop new products, develop reasonable process plans and necessary tooling equipment to meet the manufacturing needs of new products.
• Proficient in using CAD, Proe and other related software as well as office software.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
