Global R&D Programs Manager - Power Transformers

The opportunity
In this role you will be responsible of defining the roadmap proposal and leading the execution of the different programs within Power Transformers Technology. You will be the reference person for each Program team making sure that there is perfect alignment among these programs. You will be acting in some discussions as main representative of Power Transformers Technology Manager to whom you would be rporing to, and candidates will be required to travel up to 20% (globally) based on R&D team's needs.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the roadmap preparation (aligned with other functions) and execution of all core Programs.
- Interact with Design Platform Manager, R&D teams' manager and R&D Project Management Office to review projects and resources planning as per every year Roadmap. Review the need of hirings demanded from all Programs.
- Provide regularly updates to Power Transformers Technology Manager.
- Represent Power Transformers Technology Manager in decision meetings of projects within Programs when agreed.
- Oversees the need of interaction and alignment among different Programs.
- Lead the Intellectual Property among the outcomes of the Programs, by adequate level of IP protection, balancing coverage and costs.
- Support programs monthly costs reporting and preparation of annual and multi-year budget specially in terms of needs from different Programs.
- Review and approve (when delegated) Technical Standards and R&D reports coming from Programs.

Your background
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering or relevant field is preferred.
- Not less than 10 years of proven experience and knowledge in Power Transformers Technology.
- Project and/or Program Management experience and skills will be highly valued.
- Willing to work in a remote and diverse environment.
- Willingness to travel to meet R&D teams when needed.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
