Based in John's Creek, GA, you'll lead technical field assignments, from installation to repair of high voltage equipment (69kV to 550kV). How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and execute field service operations with minimal guidance.
- Install and commission high voltage substation equipment.
- Supervise electricians and contractors.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high voltage equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using your expertise.
- Conduct and document field tests, including electrical tests and SF6 leak detection.
- Compile data to resolve operating problems or malfunctions.
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

Your Background
- Technical certificate in an electrical or mechanical field with 5+ years of experience in high voltage substations.
- Alternatively, military experience with similar equipment is considered.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Proven leadership in coordinating and leading electrical project crews.
- Experience with power utilities.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of operating test equipment like CB timers and Megger.
- Familiarity with Windows applications.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Reside or willing to relocate to Johns Creek, GA.
