You'll be working very closely with marketing and communications professionals in North America and around the world to support our regional marketing and communications strategy with various types of digital content (infographics, video production and editing, Power Point design, web design, etc.).

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of content and translations for the French-Canadian website, managing day-to-day web projects for North America such as web publishing in both internal and external platforms, project coordination, implementation, and assisting with the growth and management of the company's web presence in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the priorities and the communications strategy for Hitachi Energy North America and provide recommendations for creating different types of digital content to support the strategy
  • Use creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to come up with digital communications projects and assets to support NAM marketing and communications campaigns
  • Contribute to digital project life cycle by planning and coordinating deliverables, resources, and integration
  • Monitor project progress and track action items by collaborating with other departments and functions
  • Conduct design and implementation reviews along with quality assurance
  • Conduct quality assessment of the North America (Mexico, US, and Canada) web pages on intranet and external website
  • Create new web pages for North America sites
  • Research, escalate and resolve issues to appropriate authority when necessary
  • Identify opportunities for process and content improvement
  • Monitor expenses while implementing cost-saving actions and prioritizing deliverables
  • Provide project status reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends using Adobe Analytics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, visual graphics or any other relevant field area is required
  • 3 or more years of experience in web publishing, development, design, and digital content creation
  • Bilingual in English and French, spoken and written
  • Video and photo editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite skills are required)
  • Ability to plan and manage high-volume projects and expert multi-tasker: can work on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Works efficiently, action-oriented and open to challenges and working outside your comfort zone
  • Must be able to work independently, be proactive and autonomous in a virtual team
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and teach others
  • Ability to get results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in a team environment, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented with strong copy-editing skills

Optional

  • Spanish as a third language
  • Familiar with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Content management systems
  • Experience with Google Business Profile
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or any monitoring tools
  • Data-driven, knowing where to look for SEO ideas and what metrics matter over vanity metrics
  • Experience with B2B web platforms
