You'll play a crucial role in ensuring all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health, safety, and environment requirements, financial targets, and scheduled commitments. How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of material, labor, and other costs associated with available products.
  • Develop and manage a list of potential Design to Value projects.
  • Analyze and document the expected impact of Design to Value ideas to help prioritize team focus.
  • Lead workshops to identify activities to improve overall efficiencies within the value chain.
  • Review customer specifications and designs to identify roadblocks for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain technology/feature assessments based on competitive benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager & Application Manager to understand changing market scenarios.
  • Work with Customer Order Engineers to define improvement projects within engineering.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical field.
  • Experience with project leadership, planning, and execution; Project Management Certification is a benefit.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windchill and Creo.
  • Knowledge of any ECAD software like E3 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is a must.
  • Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
