How You'll Make an Impact:
- Conduct detailed analysis of material, labor, and other costs associated with available products.
- Develop and manage a list of potential Design to Value projects.
- Analyze and document the expected impact of Design to Value ideas to help prioritize team focus.
- Lead workshops to identify activities to improve overall efficiencies within the value chain.
- Review customer specifications and designs to identify roadblocks for implementation.
- Develop and maintain technology/feature assessments based on competitive benchmarking.
- Collaborate with Product Manager & Application Manager to understand changing market scenarios.
- Work with Customer Order Engineers to define improvement projects within engineering.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical field.
- Experience with project leadership, planning, and execution; Project Management Certification is a benefit.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windchill and Creo.
- Knowledge of any ECAD software like E3 is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is a must.
- Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
