You will be acting as the responsible commissioning engineer overseeing the installation and commissioning of substation automation systems for assignments classified as medium commissioning complexity. Managing completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards in safety and project execution. Be a proactive leader, ensuring all commissioning processes align with global safety standards and technological achievements
- Manage the commissioning phase of our renewable energy projects, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and groundbreaking energy solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of engineering solutions
- Engage with clients and and stakeholders to foster strong relationships and ensure projects align with community values and expectations
- Prepare and review project documentation and reports. Mentor and guide junior engineers, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of excellence
Your Background
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in commissioning large-scale energy projects
- Proficient in modern engineering software and familiar with international safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both English and German preferred
- Proven technical report generation, communication, customer interface skills, multi priority and multi-tasking. Analytical and strategic approach
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols like IEC61850, LON, IEC101-3, DNP etc.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols in substations and able to read schematic drawings and identify or locate mistakes, problem solving and conflict resolution
