Senior Engineer (Fullstack)

What's the role?

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with product owners, designers and architects on all phases of the application life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, documentation and testing.
• Optimize new and existing code for usability, responsiveness & maintenance.
• Create performant web components and libraries that empower other application developers.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams across the company.

Who are you?

You are a fast learner and are comfortable working with little direction. You take initiative and bring up ideas. In addition you have the following:

• B.Tech/B.E/B.S dagree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable commercial web applications for an international user base. 
• 3+ years of experience building responsive single page applications with a modern application framework such as Angular, React or Vue.
• Expertise with HTML5, SCSS, CSS3, ES6 and Typescript
• Expertise with modern web development tools such as Python, NodeJS, npm, yarn, webpack, ESLint and Docker.
• Ability to translate UX design wireframes into pixel perfect web applications.
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, Cypress and Selenium and CI/CD systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins and GoCD.

In this position you will be part of  the HERE Platform Portal team, an integral component of the Compute Foundation team - a dynamic, agile team that’s responsible for advanced tools, an ecosystem of collaborators and rich location data and services in one place. The HERE Platform Portal serves as the primary application for all Here customer interactions and product access.
