Description and Requirements
The Hyphen Sr. Business Process Analyst is a highly experienced member of the process documentation team responsible for preparing documentation used in enhanced process design, developing business requirements and functional system design, developing system test plans and performing system testing. The incumbent is a self-starter who contributes individually as well as alongside a Hyphen or client team. He/she produces high quality work with a strong impact on high client satisfaction. The Sr. Business Process Analyst proactively assists others, both client and Hyphen.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all levels of end users to quickly document business processes and workflows and begin identifying possible approaches to gaps, issues or risks
- Gather, analyze and document user requirements
- Assist in reporting and presenting requirements and possible approaches to client
- Clearly describe project work to both client and Hyphen
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Translate business and user requirements into functional specifications
- Develop business process flows and detailed design documentation
- Work with development team to ensure product is built to specifications
- Develop test cases and perform user testing
- Document and manage issues
- Provide ongoing status reports to Project Manager
- Assist Process Specialists through training, coaching and function as first-level of support
- Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- Process Specialist, Process Analyst, or similar work experience
- Demonstrated ability to remain organized, self-motivated and able to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
- Empathetic listener, effective in interpersonal communications
- Rigorous attention to detail, demonstrated ability to write clear, concise communications and documentation demonstrating proper grammar, correct spelling and punctuation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; working knowledge of Visio or other diagramming/design software
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a matrix-management environment
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Healthcare experience

Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $76,000 - $109,820
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $67,600 - $100,555
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
