Here at GXO, we are looking for a VMO Analyst (Vendor Management) to join our dynamic team based in our head office in Northampton. You will gather, analyse and synthesize data for internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organisational boundaries. You will provide operational support for the VMO organisation and the leaders and stakeholders within IT, as well as other organisations as required.

You'll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, 3 days a week in the office in Northampton and 2 days working from home.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £41,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Track all vendor related spend in a single repository
  • Raise PR/PO's as required for IT related purchases, including working with procurement setting up new suppliers and chasing approvers where necessary
  • Validating purchase requirements and costing, working with finance to ensure budget is available and vendor spend is aligned with the assigned budgets
  • Ordering in a timely manner, monitoring contract and delivery timescales
  • Research and provide data to relevant team members or stakeholders to solve supplier invoicing and payment issues

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • BA in Business required or an equivalent along with 2-3 years in a similar analytical role with experience of a procurement, vendor management or shared services team
  • Experience working with MS Suite and Microsoft Excel.
  • Broad understanding of IT with experience of administration and coordination within an IT function with basic procurement processes, concepts and budgeting principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
