What we are looking

We are looking for Sustainability Manager to lead and oversee all sustaninability initiavites in the warehouse to develop the Sustainability program in close collaboration with the customer's teams.

This Programme includes the supervision of the on-going projects, communications, reporting and development of new proposals with the overall objective to minimize environmental impact, optimize resources and promote a healthy and responsible working environment in the warehouse

What will you do on a day-to-day

Your responsabilies will be:
  • Develop training materials and internal awareness and campaigns, as well as organization and coordination of meetings, workshops, and events in the field of sustainability
  • Increase sustainability knowledge in all warehouse areas to integrate sustainability practices into their operations and processes
  • Coordinate the implementation of processes and initiatives, ensuring they are created, kept up to date, managed, distributed, and used in the warehouse
  • To be able to analyze, from an innovative perspective, all the processes and internal flows to identify potential improvements aligned with the Sustainability Programme
  • Be tenacious in sustainability performance by monitoring KPIs with an analytical view to identify and understand deviations
  • Build and leada community-network integrated in the warehouse teams which will provide support in the implementation and monitoring of the initiatives
  • Engagement with customer teams to collaboratively develop strategies aligned with the Sustainability Programme
  • Be resourceful and flexible towards change, be active in proposing improvements, innovations, and operational opportunities
  • Have a clear and detailed understanding of the customer's specific sector requirements and through knowledge of the industry
  • Primary point of liaison for day-to-day operational issues & for inquiries relating to operational process. Review & resolve customer's or internal inquiries and concerns promptly & professionally

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Bachelor's degree, Ideally education in transport & logistics
  • English (spoken and written).
  • 3 years in retail business and logistics supply chain.
  • Ideally 1-2 plus years' experience in a sustainability position.
  • Experienced in customer meetings.
  • Familiar with Continuous improvement methodology
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of IT tools for the analysis and reporting of sustainability data (Excel, etc.).
  • Ideally knowledge and background in terms of sustainability law and regulations.
  • Ability to lead process reviews & facilitate user training.
  • Proficient time management skills to effectively address operational challenges
