QHSE Coordinator

Here at GXO, we are looking for a full-time H&S Coordinator to join our team based in Bradford on a fixed term contract basis. Working on our flagship M&S Clothing & Home contract you'll be responsible for all things health and safety, to create a safe and supportive workplace environment where people can thrive.

Your working hours will be Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours daily, to cover between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00.

You'll be paid a salary of up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Work with the operational departments in the creation and reviewing of risk assessments and associated documentation
  • Ensure that suitable and sufficient training is provided and maintained so that the site can manage QHSE issues on a day-to-day basis
  • Liaise with site QHSE representatives to ensure the design and running of 'Road to Zero' site Health & Safety campaigns are engaging at all levels and fun
  • Advise and assist where required with all ongoing investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the site's agreed SLA timings

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Experience working at a similar level within a logistics/warehousing environment, ideally within 3PL
  • Experience of assisting with the production of risk assessments and associated documents
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is highly desirable
